We've been in the telecommunications business for nearly 20 years. When the Internet became a commercial
enterprise in the early to mid 1990s, we jumped on board. Over the years, we have grown to meet the rapidly expanding
and ever changing needs of our customers for the 21st century and beyond.
We pride ourselves on owning our own Network Operations Center (NOC) facilities. We feel it is important to have
complete control and access to our systems. Unfortunately, many other web hosting companies do not own their own NOC.
Usually, these companies co-locate their servers in a remote data center. All the bragging they do about their
bandwidth connections to the Internet and their backup facilities really amounts to them bragging about facilities that
they do not actually own and are unable to control.
Web hosting clients deserve better and we provide it by taking a different approach. Since co-locating our servers in somebody else's facility just isn't
good enough, we built our own NOC from scratch.
Inside a Cabinet
Our NOC's primary feed is an OC-12 over fiber with diverse redundant feeds to different Tier 1 backbone providers for
redundancy and stability. All servers and equipment are on battery backup and the entire NOC is on generator backup
power.
The NOC has at least four network/system administrators available at all times and our technical support department is
located adjacent to our NOC so that the techs and the system administrators can quickly and easily communicate with
each other.
In short, running the highest quality web hosting facility is our daily goal and our primary function. You simply do not get this with many other web hosting providers.
